PwC Jersey Musician of the Year Competitions 2026

We are delighted to share details about the 2026 PwC Jersey Junior and Young Musician of the Year Competitions, part of Jersey Music Service’s provision of opportunities for young musicians in Jersey.

The competitions welcome applications from string, woodwind, piano, brass, vocal and percussion musicians.

 

Competition Dates and Venues:

The PwC Jersey Junior Musician of the Year Competition and PwC Jersey Young Musician of the Year Competition Heats will take place on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th February 2026 at Jersey Music Service (within the Education Building on the Highlands Campus).

We are pleased to announce that the PwC Jersey Young Musician of the Year Competition Final will return to the Jersey Opera House on Saturday 28th February 2026.

 

Rehearsal Dates:

A rehearsal with the official accompanist will take place on either the weekend of 24th – 25th January or 31st January – 1st February at Jersey Music Service. Rehearsal times will be communicated at the beginning of January.

In order to enter the competition, please:

  1. Ensure you have the support of your child’s instrumental / vocal teacher.
  2. Complete the entry form no later than Friday, 19th December 2025. Please note that programme details will be required on the entry form.

Jersey Contemporary Musician Competition 2026

The Jersey Contemporary Musician Competition is part of Jersey Music Service’s provision of opportunities for young musicians in Jersey and provides early performance and competition opportunities. The competition welcomes applications from guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, drums, and singing competitors of a Grade 4 level and above.

Details about dates and venues for the 2026 competitions will be published here as soon as they are announced.
