About Us

The Friends of Jersey Youth Music are a fundraising association with the aim of supporting the Jersey Music Service in its efforts to teach, promote and encourage young musicians.

How to Get Involved

Did you know that you are automatically a member of the Jersey Music Service friends association (Friends of Jersey Youth Music) if your child receives lessons with Jersey Music Service or is a member of one of our ensembles? 

If you would like to be more involved in supporting musicians of Jersey Music Service, we’d love you to join our committee and share ideas about how we can best support our students and parents. Our committee play a valuable role in supporting us through fundraising, administrating Jersey Music Service merchandise and helping with the smooth running of our events by serving refreshments and running raffles.

The committee meets once a term and raises funds throughout the year. You can join the committee without having a specific role or you could become our next Vice Chairman or Secretary – both currently vacant positions. 

As well as being able to create some memorable moments for JMS students, committee members are also entitled to complimentary concert tickets to all ticketed JMS events.

£3.00 from every hoodie and t-shirt sold will go to the Friends of Jersey Youth Music

Should you wish to place an order for a hoodie or t-shirt, please complete an order form here, the details you provide will be collected by JMS and shared with the Friends of Jersey Youth Music.

Jersey Music Service will contact you to collect your order once it has been received; please note orders will be made in bulk to the supplier and may not be processed immediately.

Second Hand Music

Music books can be costly and to offer an affordable option, JMS have a stock of second hand music for sale. All monies raised are used to provide students with musical opportunities.

If you have any music books at home that are not being used, JMS would be delighted to receive any donations.
