At JMS, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children, young people, and vulnerable adults who access our service.

Our Safeguarding Principles

• All children have the right to be safe and protected from harm.
• Staff and volunteers are trained to recognise and respond to safeguarding concerns.
• We follow Government of Jersey safeguarding policy and guidance from KCSIE.

Key Safeguarding Principles

• Treat all children with respect and dignity.
• Respect confidentiality, but act promptly if a child discloses abuse.
• Do not give personal advice or contact children outside official duties.
• All adults working with children must adhere to our professional code of conduct.
