Covid 19 Advice
We are delighted to be working with schools and teachers to return to in person teaching from Monday 14th September 2020.
Music provides children with a chance for creative expression, social interaction and collaboration, and has been shown to support positive mental health, which is essential as we begin to recover from the impact of COVID-19.
Our over-riding priority is to keep our teachers and students safe and so please be assured that we will not be putting lessons back into schools unless we have done everything we can to ensure they will be learning and working in a safe environment.
Along with STAC we are developing comprehensive COVID-19 guidance for teaching music in schools and this will continue to be updated and available to view here:
We have also put together a list of creative ideas and resources for you to explore what musicians and educators around the world are doing to support children and young people JMS – Online Resources
