Natasha has been a great teacher for (my child) over the years and has often gone above and beyond emailing tips or books to buy well outside work hours.

Proactive and helpful office staff. Good value for money and I like the fact that lessons are held in school time.

Parent

Lovely teachers and very supportive admin staff.

Parent

I like how kind and supportive the staff are. I like how the staff approach problems with solutions rather than barriers. I like how the staff understand childhood development in an holistic way. I like how the staff respect the voice of the child. Thank you so much to John Pearse, a more patient and caring teacher you couldn't hope to find.

Excellent teaching, good ensemble opportunities. Encouragement and support for exams and competitions. (My daughter) has really enjoyed her saxophone lessons and the ensembles and has progressed well. It has been a great opportunity for her to borrow the baritone sax to play in the ensembles. Thank you to all at JMS!

Parent

It's wonderful for students to have the opportunity to learn an instrument and have a variety of instruments and lessons available.

We love that (our child) had the opportunity to learn French Horn during school time.
(He) absolutely loved Mr Jones. He inspired him and encouraged him to enjoy his music.
Parent

(My child) has had some wonderful teachers who have encouraged her.

We have seen (our daughter's) playing go from strength to strength through Dr Lombard’s tuition and encouragement and (our daughter's) practice and ability.

Parent

I have enjoyed being part of the JMS (Jersey Music Service) Saxophone Ensemble and JMS Big Band, both run by Dr Lombard, and especially enjoyed the variety of pieces we played and the experiences to perform that Dr Lombard worked hard for us to have, such as the summer concert held at Government House in 2022.

Dr Lombard guided and supported me through his teaching to obtain distinctions in both my ABRSM Grade 8 Alto Saxophone exam and my ARSM performance diploma exam ... and I have felt my playing has improved immensely with the wealth of knowledge that I have learned through him... I have really valued the attention to detail that he provides when giving feedback on my playing, and he has been excellent in advising me on certain exercises to complete to target specific areas of my playing such as technicality and tone.
